Arrest after armed police called to St Annes

Officers set up a cordon around a house on St Andrew’s Road North, close to the junction with Devonshire Road, on Wednesday morning.

A Lancashire Police spokesman said a woman was found inside the property with an injury to her back and that a 32-year-old man had been arrested on suspicion of assault.
