THE wrecked Riverdance ferry is set to star in a hit television show about Britain's coastline.
BBC Two show Coast organised for an RAF Sea King helicopter to be flown over the wreck as part of their filming.
It is the first time a Sea King has been back to the ferry since a dramatic sea rescue on the night it crashed.
RAF crews flew out to the distressed vessel on January 31 after it was hit by a "freak wave," during a journey from Northern Ireland to Heysham, winching terrified passengers off the ship.
All 23 people on board were rescued safely in a heroic effort by air and lifeboat crews.
