Man injured in clash with unmarked police car

A MAN has been taken to hospital after his car was hit by an unmarked police vehicle in Preston.
The crash happened at around 2am this morning on Ringway, near the junction with Friargate, when the police vehicle was on its way to attend an incident.

The driver of the other vehicle, who has not yet been named or identified, has been taken to hospital with "whiplash," injuries.

A police accident investigation is now underway.
